Terms and conditions

These Terms and conditions govern use of the Official Plátanos Store and purchases made through it, together with the applicable Store policies. Use of the main website and its forms is described separately in the website Terms. When express acceptance of conditions is required during a purchase, it will be requested at that step; browsing alone does not replace it. The buyer’s applicable non-waivable rights remain unaffected.

1. Operator

The store and general brand experiences are operated by Platanos Entertainment LLC under the public-facing brand Santo Domingo Plátanos. Liga Plátano Ball EIRL may operate experiences related to baseball, player evaluations, and LPB programs.

2. Permitted use

A person agrees to provide accurate information, use our services lawfully, and not attempt to interfere with security, availability, content, prices, forms, or systems. We may limit or cancel access when there is fraud, abuse, noncompliance, or operational risk.

3. Products, prices, and availability

Descriptions, images, colors, and measurements are prepared carefully, but reasonable differences may exist among screens, materials, and production processes. Prices are shown in the indicated currency and may change before an order is confirmed. Product availability and acceptance of an order are not guaranteed until confirmation.

4. Orders and payments

We may reject, limit, or cancel orders because of obvious errors, lack of availability, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, or noncompliance with these terms. If a charge that has already been processed is canceled, the corresponding refund will be handled through the applicable method.

5. Production, customization, and cancellations

Many products are made to order. A cancellation or modification can only be attempted before production begins. Once production has started, we do not guarantee changes or cancellations. Customized products cannot be resold and are subject to the special conditions stated in the Refund and return policy.

6. Shipping, taxes, and importation

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. The purchaser is responsible for shipping and for taxes, duties, import charges, recipient procedures, and carrier charges not expressly shown as prepaid. Direct delivery to the Dominican Republic is not a promise of total landed cost or duties-paid delivery. Timeframes are estimates and may be affected by production, separate packages, carriers, customs, weather, or incorrect address information.

7. Returns and claims

Returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by the Refund and return policy. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 30 days after delivery with the evidence reasonably requested.

8. Intellectual property

Names, logos, characters, uniforms, designs, photographs, text, videos, graphics, files, and other materials belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable laws. Copying, producing, modifying, selling, or exploiting these materials without written permission is not authorized.

9. Third-party links and services

We may use or link to external services needed for payments, deliveries, events, forms, support, analytics, or other functions. We do not control their independent websites or policies, although we select reasonable service providers for our operations.

Shopify. Our store is hosted and operated on Shopify. Shopify processes information when a person visits the store or makes a purchase, including to provide services based on their interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. To provide those services, information may be shared with Shopify and other third parties, including outside the person's country of residence. 10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, interruptions outside our control, misuse, expectations not described, or delays caused by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

The commercial activities of Platanos Entertainment LLC will be governed by the applicable laws of the State of Florida, with Miami-Dade County as the reference location, unless a different mandatory rule applies. Activities of Liga Plátano Ball EIRL and player-related activities may be governed by the applicable laws of the Dominican Republic and the corresponding jurisdiction in Santo Domingo.
